The Foundation convened the third edition of the Rule of Law Forum in partnership with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Rule of Law Programme Middle East and North Africa. Over two days, constitutional judges, legal scholars, ministers, intellectual property specialists, sustainability leaders and practitioners from across the region examined constitutional transformations in the Arab world, the relationship between sanctions, sovereignty and humanitarian law, environmental law and corporate responsibility, the civil and common law divide across the region, and the rule of law in an age shaped by intellectual property and innovation. Opening remarks were delivered by Rany Sader alongside Prof. Dr Hans-Jörg Dietsche, H.E. Kurt Georg Stoeckl-Stillfried, H.E. Dr Paul Morcos and H.E. Atty. Adel Nassar.

The Forum was conceived as a standing regional platform, a space in which to exchange experience, confront difficulty honestly and build bridges between legal traditions in pursuit of stronger institutions. Attendance was by invitation, with registration through rol.saderlex.com.
